Once the Glycotech WaxSol is applied to a surface it may be removed with high pressure water washer or water and brush. A sugar soap solution can also be used to thoroughly clean.

Used on environmentally challenged wood as maintenance protection against: fungi, insects, damp, water, sun and temperature. However, in the long run every maintenance application penetrating ever deeper into the cellular structure of the ageing and drying wood ensuring flexibility and strength.
Glycotech WaxSol is an oil therefore its application requires it to penetrate the wood. The drying time at 28ºC will be 3 hours when applied to Pine with slower penetration applied to Hardwood and a Varnished surface before being dry to the touch. Within 2 to 3 days a protective film is formed on the surface. When maintenance is preformed the new coat will penetrate through the protective layer.

Is wood treated with Glycotech WaxSol toxic? No.

Glycotech WaxSol being a Polyurethane is a unique synthetic substance but one of many in the classification.
Glycotech WaxSol specifically engineered it's Polyol as an organic compound for the treatment of wood.
Please adhere to the manufacturer’s directions of use as safe contact and leech tests support the manufacturer's recommended instructions.
Use Olive, Coconut, Palm, Linseed oil, all of which contain a percentage of Polyol and blend in a low melting point Bee's wax to form a surface seal should do.

GlycoTech HotDIP may also be applied with a coarse bristle brush as a cold application - penetration however will not be as effective as when heated.
Untreated timber should be treated with two (2) coats leaving approximately four (4) hours between coats at 280C
A maintenance coat should be applied every twelve (12) months, or upon inspection.
GlycoTech WaxSol is NOT recommended for furniture or food preparation surfaces, and as such, our packaging or information does not make reference to use on furniture.
GlycoTech WaxSol is a wood oil treatment, not paint or varnish. However, after drying, a varnish coat may be added for contact use.
