Glycotech WaxSol is a Polyurethane sealer allowing most varnish and PVA products to be used as top coating.
Once Glycotech WaxSol is dry wipe with dry cloth before applying a top coating.
Yes use a thin coat with a sponge or cloth. Note: It will penetrate over a few days without effecting the varnish. Repeat until the wood is nourished.
Once the Glycotech WaxSol is applied to a surface it may be removed with high pressure water washer or water and brush. A sugar soap solution can also be used to thoroughly clean.
Glycotech WaxSol with a 1.050 S.G. (Specific Gravity) is a Emulsifiable Polyurethane damp sealer for cement, plaster and wood. Displacing moisture.
Used on environmentally challenged wood as maintenance protection against: fungi, insects, damp, water, sun and temperature. However, in the long run every maintenance application penetrating ever deeper into the cellular structure of the ageing and drying wood ensuring flexibility and strength.
Treatments which displace moisture and replace the moisture with cellulose bonding oil. GlycoTech WaxSol is just such an treatment.
Glycotech WaxSol is an oil therefore its application requires it to penetrate the wood. The drying time at 28ºC will be 3 hours when applied to Pine with slower penetration applied to Hardwood and a Varnished surface before being dry to the touch. Within 2 to 3 days a protective film is formed on the surface. When maintenance is preformed the new coat will penetrate through the protective layer.
Glycotech Emulsifiable Polyurethane base oil is a blend containing Polyurethane oil, resins, wax oil and trace elements sufficient to ensure the best possible treatment being safe for man and animal and is an environmentally friendly green product.
Is wood treated with Glycotech WaxSol toxic? No.
When handling liquid Glycotech Waxsol Daily Occupational health and safety guidelines, measures and personal protective equipment must be adhered according to site specific risk analysis.
Glycotech WaxSol being a Polyurethane is a unique synthetic substance but one of many in the classification.
Glycotech WaxSol specifically engineered it's Polyol as an organic compound for the treatment of wood.
Please adhere to the manufacturer’s directions of use as safe contact and leech tests support the manufacturer's recommended instructions.
Use Olive, Coconut, Palm, Linseed oil, all of which contain a percentage of Polyol and blend in a low melting point Bee's wax to form a surface seal should do.

Yes - this is mainly for industrial applications and a pre-filter is required.
Tips: Inspect the wood the dryer the better, also take note of the wood and ambient temperature.
Recommended to use a small 350 watt centrifugal pump connected to a big blue water filter with 10 micron replaceable filter.
GlycoTech WaxSol is factory filtered at 40 microns.
No - for HotDIP Applications a different product in our range called GlycoTech HotDIP needs to be purchased.
